An experimental data encyclopedia for cities
As product manager I designed the layout and user experience for NYCpedia.com, launched for New York City in 2013. I also managed the geodata used to aggregate open data across more accessible geographies. NYCpedia.com contained over 1 million articles with 15 million searchable facts about NYC.
I also managed the development of the national implementation of PediaCities, which turned public data into local indicators for every State, County, and City in the United States. In 2016, PediaCities was rebranded as CivicDashboards, and was acquired by OpenGov.com.
